$95,000 to $140,000, depending on experience

A mid-sized insurance defense law firm in Alpharetta is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Workers’ Compensation defense practice. This role works directly with senior attorneys and provides hands on litigation experience, including depositions, mediations, hearings, and active case management.

This position is ideal for attorneys who want consistent courtroom exposure, structured mentorship, and long-term growth in insurance defense litigation.

Responsibilities

• Handle Workers’ Compensation defense matters

• Conduct depositions and mediations

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery

• Appear in hearings and court proceedings

• Communicate with insurance carriers, adjusters, and opposing counsel

• Manage deadlines and case files

Required Experience

Candidates must have one or more of the following:

• Georgia Workers’ Compensation defense experience

• Civil litigation experience

• Public Defender experience

• Assistant District Attorney experience

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Bar license

• Litigation experience

• Strong communication and legal writing skills

• Organized and detail-oriented
